Getting to Tunja
To get to Tunja, the easiest route is to take an intercity bus from Bogotá. This trip takes approximately three (3) hours, so prepare in advance.
We recommend traveling on Thursday, November 7 in the afternoon, so that you are first thing at the conference on Friday.
Tunja
The capital of Boyacá, is a city full of history and culture. It is located 2,782 meters above sea level and its average temperature is 13 °C.
To visit Tunja, we recommend bringing warm clothing, such as jackets and scarves, as its climate is generally cold. Also, don't forget to use sunscreen, as the altitude can increase the intensity of the sun, and enjoy the walking tours to learn about its rich history and colonial architecture.
Where to stay?
In Tunja there are several accommodation options for all budgets. We recommend looking for a hotel near the auditorium so you can arrive on time for the activities.
Where to park your vehicle?
If you come by car or motorcycle, it is important that you know that the auditorium does NOT have parking service. However, it is easy to find several parking lots around.
